ITC Cheltenham字体目前的形式是由设计师Tony Stan创作。它最初由建筑师Bertram Goodhue设计，后来由Morris Fuller Benton进行了扩展，并由Stan在1975年完成，现在具有更大的x高度而且斜体细节得到了改进。ITC Cheltenham字体是最新款古典字体的一个示例。1993年，Ed Benguiat为这个字体家族增加了Handtooled字重。<br><br>
ITC Cheltenham font in its present form is the work of designer Tony Stan. Originally designed by architect Bertram Goodhue, it was expanded by Morris Fuller Benton and completed by Stan in 1975 with a larger x-height and improved italic details. ITC Cheltenham font is an example of an up-to-date yet classic typeface. In 1993 Ed Benguiat added the Handtooled weights to this family.
